Here's what our customers have to say about our products:
"I recently purchased one of your Davey Crickett rifles (My First Rifle) from my 7 yr. old daughter and I would like to say that i have nothing but positive things to say about it. To put it simply, she loves it and looks forward to going shooting with me at every opportunity. It is obvious that a good deal of time was spent in the development of this product as it is perfectly designed for kids in regards to length and weight. My daughter is rapidly improving her marksmandship and takes the responsibility of a firearm very seriously. She is also looking forward to going squirrel hunting with me this upcoming season. In closing, I will recommend your product to everyone that might be interested in it. This pink polymer stock was an excellent tought, I might add. P.S. I am going to take the liberty of sending a note to Field & Stream magazine recommending your product, as well."
"I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how much we've enjoyed our Crickett Rifles. I bought them two years ago and they are still going strong. We go to the range every Monday night and my kids have really enjoyed the rifles. They are perfectly sized and balanced. They've been shooting iron sights and are getting pretty proficient so Im going to add scopes this year. I'm also getting them their own Crickett gun cases..the full size cases don't fit well and are hard for the kids to carry. Thanks for a great product."Fred --From VA "Thanks so much. You guys are great. My son absolutely loves his little rifle..even his older brothers like to shoot it. A great product from great people, what could be better.
"Thank you for making such a good gun. it is my first gun. i really like it. it gives me great enjoyment shooting it with my dad. i will keep it forever and even pass it down to my kid. signed rifle my size" Albert
"Thank you for supporting the next generation of recreational shooters. My 4 1/2 year old daughter thought the "pink one" was far superior to a black synthetic stock, who am i to argue? I never would have thought that a pink rifle would be sitting in the rack in the gun room. I look forward to when my daughter is a bit older and ready to begin her journey in the great sport of shooting."
"I bought this as a first rifle for my 9 year old daughter who's name is Dakota. She is thrilled and so am I as I never thought one of my daughters would take an interest in shooting which is one of my favorite hobbies. I will get to spend a lot more time with her now becuase of it. Thanks"
"Oh, by the way..the build quality of this product is much better than I was expecting. You are offering young shooters a superior product and their parents an excellent deal"
"Well finally did it. I bought this rifle as a replacement for a Reliance Model "D"22.Bolt action, single shot. looked sort of cheeses, but,it was accurate. I missed my little.22. Was told if I wanted it back, ask,I did ask, No response from my former neightbor.Back in the early-mid 60's, I used to shoot gophers at 30 feet.Pop their heads up, I'd shoot them. Got nearly every one. Now, for this one, it will never be traded or sold.It is going to be my keepsake 22. I pick it up Marth 7th. I seen it on the rifle rack at Modesto Guns. For some reason, I HAD to buy it. Went bak this past Saturday.Bought it on the spot. I don't have any kids.I'm a kid at heart. Yes, I'll shoot it. Now I have an excuse to buy more 22's."
"Thank you for replacing the barrel on my son's Crickett. Your customer service far exceeded my expectations and I make it a point to tell my friends about it. I look forward to buying Cricketts for my younger son and daughter in the future."David--From NM "I have just purchased my second crickett. It is a Target Model with S/S Barrel. It shoots exceptionally well.Wherever I go it draws a lot of attention. These are some targets I shot with the gun. Keep up the good work, It is a great shooting rifle."
"I just want to tell you a short story. For many years my son would follow me into the sporting goods stores that sold firearms.Being raised in the country,we can experience many things that city dwellers can not. One freedom is our ability to target shoot and plink. My son now has grown older and has become very accurate with shotgun and rifle. His guns range from a Browning BT-99 for trap, Benelli Super Black Eagle, Remington .22 scoped and a few old guns from his granddaughter. As he now approaches his 16 birthday wish is for a Crickett. He remembers his day as a young child picking up the youth .22's at the gun store. So you see, your Crickett .22's are not just for the youngest shooters, there is a kid in all of us. Thanks for supporting our young and old, and creating memories of a lifetime!
"Thank you for fixing our Crickett. We love to shoot targets with it. Our Dad ordered us a mount and put a scope on it for us. We hit everything that we shoot at and it is a lot of fun. Thank You"

"My wife told me to do something with my daughter after gymnastics today, she recommended going for hot chocolate or a donut. I thought, that's not special, plus once you've consumed the item where does that leave you. Instead we bought a pink Crickett from my six year old daughter and wanted to say thanks for making quality affordable firearms for new shooters. The 'girls' option is especially appreciated because as scary as it sounds the color really helped get her excitet about it. Bethany says thanks too! She'll be quite fashionalble at the Sportsman Club tomorrow." Chris "I wanted to tell you about my daughter's first gun. For Christmas 05' My oldest kid,6,wanted Santa to bring her, her first real gun. When her teacher at school told the class to write a letter to Santa about what they really wanted for Christmans, she wrote "I want a rel gun my size". The teacher said she couldn't write that at school and had to write something else. When she told me and her mom about that I decided taht if i had to sell one of my guns to get her one I would..Luckally I didn't have to sell any of mine to get Chris her gun. She is so responsible, and had proved it with a bb gun, that my wife and I went shopping a few days before Christmas...Our local gun store had just the perfect model in stock. Pink laminiated stock and stainless barrel. To see her face on Christmas morning after opening te wrapping paper was priceless. Out of the box she was a crack shot at 10-15 yeards, and just yesterday she bagged her first ground squirl at about 15 yards..thank you for such a great product that has brought so much fun and joy to my kid...and our family."Michael "I just wanted to send in a photo of my daughter's new Crickett rifle. I ordered it from Gander Mountain. It is a bull barrel thumbhole pink laminated stock model. I added a bipod and a 3.5x10x50 scope. It turned out to be a great little target gun for her. I enjoy shooting it too."

"I bought my kids their second Crickett Rifle this summer and it has been awesome. I originally bought a .22 cal. with a black stock that the kids love but tis time I found a .17 HMR Crickett with a revolution stock and a heavy barrel at a Cabelas grand opening here in Montana. I bought it on the sport. It is so fun to shoot and with a 3.5x 10 scope on it, it is very accurate out to 200 yards, (as long as there is not much wind). It is fun to set up a pop can 200 yards out and hit it every time-it is dead on at 165 and 5.5 inches low at 200. Can't wait to find another crickett 17 and buy another. Thanks for the hours of fun."
"Just a note to thank you for manufacturing the 'Crickett' rifle. I am an adult female, barely 5'2 and the usual rifles were over-sized and a bit weighty. The 'Crickett' is just my size! I enjoy target shooting - with a revolver and with a rifle but after just a few rounds with even the lightest weight rifle, my back and arms has had enough. My husband bought me a 'Crickett' for Christmas-after a relative had purchased one for his granddaughter. A girlfriend of mine also recently purchased a 'Crickett' for many of the same reasons I did. You should consider marketing this 'Crickett' as a junior gun for 'junior-sized' ladies!
Stocky Partners With KSA / Revolution - Who is KSA?
After a very nice visit to the factory last month, I thought to take a moment to report since I get this question frequently ... Who is KSA? As you may know, some time ago Keystone Sporting Arms, LLC (makers of the Davy Cricket / Chipmunk youth .22) acquired the assets of Revival, makers of the Revolution line of gunstocks. (I had run Revival stocks several years ago, but has some supply and fit issues so backed off.) KSA moved everything to their state-of-the-art facility in Pennsylvania. One of the things I took away from this move is the labor pool they have ... one of the best furniture manufacturers in the world, Pennsylvania House, was located nearby.
Chinese imports killed the domestic furniture manufacturing business in America. The level of craftsmanship at PH was exceptional (the first 17 years of my professional life, 1980 to 1997, was in the furniture business) so I know something about this. It's really sad that the market for this level of American quality was sacrificed. Good for all of us though, in this one respect - many of those craftsmen are now at KSA!
I watched first hand as these folks hand-finished and hand-fit (just about every one gets an in-house receiver set in it) each and every stock. Amazing. So, in other words, your $122 Trailblazer is being finished by a guy or gal that has many years experience making $10,000 dining room sets, laid off just a few short years ago. I know craftsmanship when I see it and I saw it there, but anyone can figure that out LOL.
Additionally, KSA made a huge investment in cutting edge machinery. They have a computer program that "prints" finished product. In other words, if you are designing a new part, pour in some 'plastic' beads and click print just like you print a document in Windows. Out pops a polymer facsimile of the part, accuracy measured in thousandths (10,000ths?). Their new stock duplicating machine, their CNCs, other wood, barrel and metalworking machines all state of the art. Nearly 100,000 square feet worth.I was so impressed that we all got to work.
I am very proud to say, after trying many laminated stock lines, that Stocky's now carries what I consider to be the 2 best lines out there - KSA and Remington (S&K). BOTH are busy as you read this designing new and ground-breaking models! We have the fortunate benefit of sending each and every model to the folks that can do it best! So now we have fresh inventory of every stock they make either on hand or in production (plus the new exclusives.) Not happy to settle for the status quo, we have partnered with them to include new enhancements that you will not find, even on their standard product, anywhere else so shop carefully.
Things like upgraded recoil pads, swivel studs on rimfire stocks (if desired), extra bipod studs on centerfire stocks, we've even worked with them to improve the thumbhole itself on our stocks for greater comfort and control! Wait 'till you see the new stuff! I heartily recommend them if you are in need of their high volume services, especially parts and barrels (please get the stock from us!)
"Just wanted to drop you a note, to let you know what a great product you offer. I just recently bought two Crickett .22's, one pink and one black. They are exceptionally accurate, and just the right size for my 5 and 7 year olds. They are awesome and we couldn't be happier. Thanks So Much!!!!!"
I just wanted to thank your company for providing a quality rimfire rifle with the younger and/or smaller shooters in mind. I have struggled for years looking to outfit my kids with a .22 rimfire rifle that fits a smaller bodied shooter and your Crickett rifle has most certainly filled that void that other gun makers seem to have overlooked. I mean to tell you that these rifles are perfectly suited for this job. Everything is scalled down proportionatly down to the last little details. Right on!!!! The quality of the fit and finish are top notch and not at all what I was expecting, especially considering the low "out of pocket" expense of your product. The functionality of your rifles are truely fantastic with extra safety features built into the design, very nice touch indeed. I still cannot believe how accurate my kids and their friends are shooting these rifles with the simple peep aperature. I will spread the word to the best of my ability to encourage people with similiar needs as mint to check out your companies offerings and will be bringing both of ours to a cub scout shoot in the early spring. Your product will speak for itself as soon as the kids start sending lead downrange. I plan on looking into some more of your products and rifle accessories (sling, scopes, etc.) in the very near future. What a great concept for the people who need these rifles. On behalf of children and smaller statured shooters everywhere and the parents struggling to find a suitable gun for their kids, I want to send you a big THANK YOU for your youth rifles and keep up the good work on making shooting both fun and affordable for everyone. What a great concept and thanks again.

Gun was purchased at a gun show. I'm impressed with the workmanship that went into this gun designed for youths. My seven year-old daughter wsa bored at the gun show, and all I heard after a half-hour of browsing was " I want to go home!" Well, we came upon the Crickett with the pink stock and she got excited about this "girls gun". I had her hold it and look through the sight, and she was very interested in trying it out. Needless to say, she now begged me to get it for her. I was impressed that something like this could gain her attention and interest in firearms. I bought it and I will be going through safety training with her shortly. Thank you for producing a fine youth gun, especially with the optioinal pink stock. Without her noticing that pink, I'm sure she wouldn't have gone to another gun show with me.
"Greetings! I saw one of your rifles in the local WalMart store and asked the clerk if I could examine it. I am extremely impressed with the firearm! (Especially the barrel lock in the receiver!) It will be prefect for my Grandkids, and after coming home and looking you up on the web, I see that you make firearms for little ladies, as well. Well done! my Granddaughter is nuts for pink, and a pink .22 rifle will go over big with her (when she gets a little older.) There has been a need for a company like yours for a long time, and I am very happy to see that the niche has finally been filled. Thank you for producing such an excellent firearm for young people."
"As a veteran (US ARMY), I have alot of experience handling weapons and enjoy target shooting immensely. As a small female (5' 1", 107lb), I have found some firearms tend to present a challenge due to weight and length. One of my former Army buddies recommended your little rifle to me and I must confess, initially I scoffed at it (honestly, an M16, it ain't). You have won me over!! This little treasure provided me with hours of pure delight!! I hate to gush but I have never fired a gun, .22 or otherwise, that I enjoyed more. I was shocked at how accurate it was and by how easy it is to operate. I can honestly say it is with me everyday and I find myself daydreaming about the next paper target or bottle's demise! The only real problem I have is wrangling it away from my 14-year-old nephew, Josh, when he visits. Our local Wal-Mart struggles to keep it in stock and he's been waiting impatiently for a Crickett of his own!! Thank you so much for the quality craftsmanship and affordable price! Believe me, I'm spreading the word as fast as I can!! Adults love your little gun too!!!!! With sincere gratitude,"

"My family has a tradition of teaching our kids to shoot young. My daughter started shooting, at the age of six, with one of your models. As a lifelong shooter, I have been impressed over and over again with the reliability, quality and accuracy of your product. When we go out plinking, eventually my daughter has to share with other adults who want to give it a try - then request more time with it. It's a lightweight, wonderful, easily used and kid-friendly firearm. I cannot recoomend it highly enough to any parent who wants to get their kid into our hobby"

"I bought a Crickett rifle for my younger son because our Ruger 10/22 is a too big and heavy for him to shoot comfortably. I also liked the idea of learning on a single shot bolt action rifle. I think it is a little safer than a semi-automatic when starting out, and my son seems to focus more on making each shot count since there is more effort required to reload after each shot. My older son sometimes take the "pray and spray" approach with the Ruger 10/22, quickly emptying the magazine with only a couple shots on target. I read a lot of favorable reviews and talked to a few Crickett rifle owners that had good things to say about the rifle, but I didn't expect much because of its affordable price. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is well built and very accurate right out of the box. I didn't have to touch the sights and it was consistently right on target at 25 yards. My son shot a few hundred rounds the first time I took him shooting and was grinning ear to ear the whole time. I had thought I would buy a pink stock for it and give to my daughter when she is big enough to start shooting, but I doubt my son will want to give it up. So we'll likely own at least two Crickett rifles then. I don't have any reservations recommending the Crickett rifle to everyone looking for rifle that will fit a child or small adult. It is a great gun!"

"I was having problems find a gun that would meet my quality standards and also small enough to fit the small body frame of my 11 and 14 year old daughters.
I considered modifying my mint condition coey for them, which would have been a sin in my books. Then I was down at our local sports shop and they had just got in an order of the Crickets. My daughter saw a pink one with the internal bolt lock. She asked if she could see it. When she was handling it in the safe area she fell in love with it and Dad being a push over, home it came with us. I wasn't to sure of the quality of the fire arm, along with the peep site set up, but I figured it would at least get them started while I modified my coey to fit.
The quality of this fire arm has proven to be outstanding. My two daughters, two years later have excelled in their marksmanship with this gun to the point both are shooting beyond what I thought the rifle was capable of. When asked, will not use other rifles offered to them." No I like my Cricket and that is what I want to use". For me, I found that this "Cricket" made it very easy to teach my daughters safe handing of a fire arm with one that was small enough for them to handle with out any difficulty. Also Being in Canada the internal bolt lock makes transporting this rifle simple. The locking pin stays as part of the rifle, to make it safe or legal to transport it is just a simple push of the pin. Both of my daughters now use it as another safety feature at the rang when they are cleared at the firing line they lock out the gun before returning it to the holding rack. This as a parent got make ya proud.
Thank you for the Cricket, it has made two junior shooters enjoy the sport better. Also for saving my coey from a fate it would not have deserved."

Let me just start off by letting you all at Keystone know that I absolutely love the Crickett. I own many firearms but this has to be one of my favorites. It is fun to shoot and impressively accurate. So easy to clean and service, it actually makes cleaning the firearm fun. Two thumbs up to Keystone for a great job at making a quality and reliable firearm that is fun for anyone to use.
I was just hoping to let y'all know that I really like my new Crickett rifle. I'm 6' tall and 29 years old and purchased your youth model for myself. It's my new favorite small game hunting rifle. Typically when I go squirrel/rabbit hunting, I end up walking 10-15 miles. I got really tired of carrying around a much heavier firearm, usually a heavy 12ga. shotgun or a scoped, wood stocked .22mag. I find that your youth model, while being a little small for my stature, is amazingly more comfortable to carry on a long walk. And the craftsmanship is great. Accuracy is superb. I love it. Thanks for making a great little rifle!"
